Tumbling around the web in a big mess. Picking up and dropping off bits and pieces with no clear goal, just spending a bit of time looking at stuff I like.
What do I like? Visual stuff mostly, photos and videos, a bit of music and interesting thoughts. When I say interesting, I mean interesting to me. You might be extremely bored by the whole thing, but I don't really care, because this isn't for you. It's for me.
These ridiculously cute little creatures are American Pikas (Ochotona princeps)
Pika are herbivorous lagomorphs, which means they’re related to rabbits and hares, and of course, the legendary Pikachu. One look at them should be explanation enough of their inherent awesomeness, but one of our favourite things about them is their penchant for gathering and caching large amounts of vegetation in haypiles to eat during the winter. These little guys do not hibernate so they need to make sure they’ve got food on hand all year round. The internet is brimming with wonderful photos of pikas holding great big mouthfuls of food.
